Meet the team!

Hi, my name is Erik, and I'm a gameaholic. Like most of our group, I'm graduating this quarter. I really wanted to make an awesome real-time strategy or full MMORPG... but unfortunately an RTS was too boring for some people *cough* and an MMORPG would be, well, too massive for a 10-week project. Maybe I can do some networks magic to make our MLPRG MMO-extensible later on. We'll see.

I'm a 4th year graduating this year. I wanted to join 125 because I think it's a really cool and unique class experience, and probably the only time I'll be working on a video game ever. What I want to get out of it is a really cool game (obviously), and real life group experience. I have a background in graphics, and will be working on that along with sound and game logic.

I'm a fourth year graduating this quarter. I've been incredibly interested in many aspects of video game design and programming since my freshman year and I really want to get some real-world experience out of this course, not only in using C++ and DirectX, but in working on such a massive project with a lot of different people with different ideas. And of course, to make an awesome game.

Fourth year @ UCSD here. I'm taking 125 for the challenge--I've never done anything game related and thought it'd be a cool thing to do. I'll learn some stuff about games and software development along the way. My experience is with backend stuff (no graphics or artistic stuff here), and that's what I'll be doing all quarter.
