What were your concrete goals for the week?
Do whatever it takes to complete the game play
What goals were you able to accomplish?
Was able to implement our new gamelogic which include picking up ammo. We are still thinking about whether the game will be more fun if infinite ammo resources are avaliable to players
Help Frank integrate the sound events to our game play
Help Frank to fix the server and clients to be restartable after each game
Added the score board showing items count of each player in end game state

Test and bug fix.

Very very high unlike last week where our game seems to crash randomly after long period. Right now bugs are fixed. Yeah! Next week gonna be more fun

Bug fix and test the game state manager
Integrate with Frank's no-dialog box network code
Start on game play/logic

Got back our network working with new menu system
Item's picksup, item's drop, winninge game state are added

Was not able to complete the game play/logic, we are still changing the our gameplay idea

WEEK6
What were your concrete goals for the week?
Work with Frank to design and implement game state manager on both client and server (intro,connection,lobby,play,pause).
Make network to support new game states and transaction
Work with Justin to integrate CEGUI into our pre game stages
What goals were you able to accomplish?
Was able to implement the game state manager on client and server, but I am still testing and fixing the code :-(.
Created more network messages to support the new gamestates
Was able to integrate with Justin's menu pages

I was not able to complete the game state manager.

Bug fix and test the game state manager

WEEK5
What were your concrete goals for the week?
Work with Fank to finish all weapons physics.
Implement timer to analyze our network traffic and make it faster
Work with team to integrate the game object collision detection to our game.
What goals were you able to accomplish?
We were able to code wepon framework and their physics motions
Was able to implement timer with micro second precision using clock-ticks
Researched on menu system and game states manager.

Worry, so many things left to do for our game. Also, I am way behind on other class projects too.
WEEK4
What were your concrete goals for the week?
Work with Frank to desgin and start coding for basic weapon physic engine
Finish up the message handling using queues on the server
Help team to do collision detection
What goals were you able to accomplish?
We were able to implement queue which hold all the clients' input, and worker thread to handle the queues
We were able to get the simple projectile physics, but we don't have any model for weapon so we are just shooting a white cube as our weapon
If there were goals you were unable to meet, what were the reasons?
I was not able to finish the simple physic for all the wepons. Time flies.
What are your specific goals for the next week?
Work with Fank to finish all weapons physics.
Implement timer to analyze our network traffic and make it faster

Tired. Worry about graphics.
WEEK3
What were your concrete goals for the week?
Work with team to finalize the data structure for server game engine
Work with Frank to implement the server game data structure
Refactor the network code to support the new data structure
Create new look for network dialog box before we can have gui for our game
Start coding basic weapon physic engine
What goals were you able to accomplish?
Was able to implement data structure for server-side framework
Was able to create UML class diagram of server-side game data structure
Implemented serializable game object to send the game state to client
Was able to make network to support multiple players using new game data structure with Justin's help
Helped implement basic DirectSound class for sound module
Was able to create temporary images for network dialog box until we got our own game images

Was not able to progress on physic engine framework due to busy schedule

Desgin and start coding for basic weapon physic engine
Finish up the messages handling using queues on the server

High! Very exicted to see the game after basic integration process
WEEK2
What were your concrete goals for the week?
Work with Frank to implement simple client/server network communication
Work with team to design the basic game framework
What goals were you able to accomplish?
Was able to figure out how to use basic checkin/out for WINCVS
Was able to understand more about DirectPlay and demos
Was able to create interface for client/server networking with Frank
Was able to send dummy input/game state message between client and server
Was able to do background debugging using console class
Was able to have network to support two players hovering around a basic terrain by sending the
simple control struct within the players thru server (hardcode infos).

What are your specific goals for the next week?
Cleanup the networking code
Do documentation for network interface
Change the visual for networking options
Finish designing the Game Objects, Game States and their OOP diagrams (UML diagram will be nice)
Figure out the better architechure to handle all the input messages for the server regarding syncronization
Finish physics for basic motion and basic character collisions detection/handling

High. But busy schedule next week, so not sure I have a lot of time to acheive netweek goals.
